Center for Science and Innovation in Spintronics (CSIS) at Tohoku University recruits a young researcher to engage in spintronics research.
Job duty
A successful candidate will be engaged in research and development of spintronics devices using quantum diamond NV centers in collaboration with Associate Prof. Hiroki Morishita.

Full-time (with a fixed term)
Employment Term: Employment commencement date through March 31, 2027. However, the contract is renewed annually. Further extension is possibly considered depending on the research achievements as well as the continued funding.
Qualifications
Ph. D. degree in relevant area.
Treatment
Job Title: Assistant Professor or Project Researcher
Salary: Determined according to the regulations of the National University Corporation Tohoku University, taking into consideration past achievements.
Working style: Discretionary labor system for professional work (equivalent to 7 hours and 45 minutes per day)
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, New Year holidays (12/29 - 1/3)
Vacation: Annual paid vacation, special vacation (according to university regulations)
Social insurance: Join the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Mutual Aid Association, Employees' Pension, Employment Insurance and Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance
